Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star...

How I wonder what you'd look like on my little tootsies! An evening engagement that requires an amazing dress will also require an equally amazing pair of shoes. Although, these aren't just shoes, they are works of art by the ever amazing Roberto Cavalli. You may be thinking 'these shoes aren't art. This girl is crazy!'. I am a firm believer that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. How I'd love to be holding these! Available online at www.net-a-porter.com or visit www.robertocavalli.com to browse his collections.

In Love with Sugarlove

Last week Annabelle and I made the trip to Sydney for the official launch of the simply gorgeous Sugarlove studio in Woollahra. Leigh and Bradley were the perfect hosts, providing simply delicious food from Katering and champagne trom Tattinger. They have done quite simply a marvelous job of their new studio. Of course pictures of Sugarlove weddings adorn the walls giving it a warm and homely feel, something you notice as soon as you enter the studio. Every bit of detail has been carefully crafted by Leigh, making it the perfect place to sit down and discuss your wedding day photography. Here's a peek at the studio and some of the guests who attended. To learn more about Sugarlove's fabulous work visit www.sugarloveweddings.com or www.sugarlovepictures.com.

We love that Leigh has kept the amber crystal door handle on the main door, one of the buildings original features

One of the best parts of my job is working with incredibly inspiring designers, stylists and artists in creating our stories. This issue I was fortunate enough to collaborate with the wonderful Shannon Fricke for our Gift Registry story. Shannon is well known from the Lifestyle Channel's Home program and her regular columns in the fabulous Inside Out magazine. I've long admired her relaxed and honest style of decorating - it seems very comfortable and unassuming.

A gift registry is a fabulous opportunity to set up your house with all the bits and pieces that will make it your home but knowing which pieces to choose can be difficult. With this in mind we asked Shannon to give us a glimpse into her personal style, guiding us in what she sees as important when decorating a home.

The opening page to our story with Shannon Fricke.

I'm sure you will find this story helpful and interesting, especially if you're struggling to find your own sense of style. If you'd like even more inspiration, Shannon's books are available nationally at all good bookstores - they are a wonderful source of reference.

Glitter in my Eyes

So, I have this dress that I've purchased for one of my Christmas parties and I am having shoe issues. I've searched high and low, scouring the shelves of every shop, department store and online boutique and I can't find anything. How is this possible? I know I'm beyond fussy but it's getting ridiculous! Then, like a flash of shiny light, I spotted these beauties. Of course they're on my favourite online store Net-a-Porter (UK based) and of course they're Christian Louboutin and of course they're simply gorgeous. Of course they have a rather hefty price tag, but after all it's Christmas, and I'm hoping Santa makes a quick delivery of these to David Jones. In one of my moments I could easily be pursuaded!
