Goodwin Charli
Melbourne tailored fashion label Godwin Charli has opened its second Melbourne store, one year after opening their flagship store in Little Collins Street. Known for their attention to detail, superb fit, and classic lines, the brand specializes in men’s and women’s suiting, shirts and accessories. Influenced by the arts, and the charm of vintage, Godwin Charli aims to create and celebrate beautiful clothing, both off-the-rack, and made-to-measure. Using the finest fabrics, sourced from mills across Europe, each garment is handcrafted and constructed in Melbourne, and delivers an old-fashioned take on modern tailoring, from elegant pant-suits and skirts for women to sharp suiting for men. The current Godwin Charli collection for men and women features eccentric preppy-style jackets and sharp silhouettes in suiting with a colour palette of solid and textured greys and browns. For men, shirts feature strong, tall collars with small checks and subtle striped patterns, in mint, red, pink, purple, blue and classic florals. Accessories include both skinny and traditional width ties, in basic and textured blacks, navy, grey, florals and polka dot patterns. Plain and patterned pocket-handkerchiefs complete a perfectly preppy look. The second Godwin Charli store is situated at 24 Collins Street, Melbourne.
