For the Yunginz
It's always a hard task finding nice shoes for young children to wear to weddings. Not only is it hard but it's often the case that the 'nice' ones are super duper expensive. In 2007 Jenny Celebrin and Yolanda La Gorce experienced this and decided to do something about it... the Australian label Yunginz was born. With a great range of great looking and comfortable shoes that are made well you'll definitely get your money's worth. They also make a great range of boys shoes. Lippie Good
The perfect lippie can be hard to find but I'll give you the heads up, head to Estee Lauder counter from April 12 and pick yourself up the latest in lipstick heaven - the Pure Colour Gloss Stick. I was sent a couple of these super duper lippies and love the pinks... they're so pretty! Pure Color Gloss Stick’s unique 3D Optic Pearl Technology and microfine reflective pearl cocktail delivers full volume appearance to lips so lips appear fuller and sexier. Adding to the lip enhancing benefit of the creamy base is a comfortable signature plumping ingredient, Maxi-Lip, that with continued use, prolongs the appearance of fullness and delivers added moisture to lips. With a rich formula that melts onto lips, Pure Color Gloss Stick comes in a variety of divine shades that deliver softly sheer pearlescent coverage and a wet, glossy shine to lips. Bag Lady
Spencer & Rutherford, one of Australia’s leading luxury handbag and accessories labels, recently celebrated its 1oth anniversary with a lavish celebration held in St Kilda. I was lucky enough to be invited but was unable to attend due to shooting all our wonderful stories for issue 11 of Style Guide, on sale 24 June. The magical evening, with stunning millinery from Richard Nylon, fashion by Anthea Crawford, enchanting music from Wildflowers and a mystical fortune teller on hand to predict the future of fashion enthralled guests. The exciting new collection, The Game of Love, was dramatically unveiled and showcased throughout the evening. The highlight, however, was the incredible retrospective display, showcasing select elegant, divine and feminine bags from the last 10 years of Spencer & Rutherford. A big Happy 10th Birthday to the lovely team at Spencer & Rutherford!

Chocolate Decadence
Estée Lauder has taken my love of chocolate to the next level with the launch of the Chocolate Decadence Collection. The delightful and truly delectable new color collection for Autumn is full of warm chocolate hues enhanced by luxurious caramel gold and sugared berry tones. The look features intensified lined eyes and softly glowing skin complemented by lightly sculpted lips and perfectly polished nails. To create a complete impression, pair the look with Autumn’s vintage-inspired suits in wools, jacquard and tweed and sensual satin blouses in warm golden tones and accessorize with sculpted boots and gloves in luxury leathers. The collection is on sale from April 12 at all Estee Lauder counters Australia wide. I'm so looking forward to winter! Visit www.esteelauder.com.au to drool over the yummy collection.

A Change is as Good as a Holiday
Last Wednesday we had our winter fashion shoot, which went fabulously, so it goes without saying that this week I'm being inspired by beautiful, elegant and effortlessly stylish wedding gowns. We've also received a huge amount of gorgeous wedding submissions and flicking through these has opened my eyes to one very noticeable change; more and more brides are choosing neutral's and ivory's for their gowns rather than the traditional white. I'm a huge fan of beautiful soft caramel gowns and was thrilled to see Carie Bradshaw sporting the most divine Vivienne Westwood number is Sex and the City the movie (that gown is now available at net-a-porter for all those die hard fans). I also believe that soft neutral's, ivory's and caramel's look much more flattering on those of us with fairer skin. White can often be too stark and no one wants to look like Casper on their wedding day (no matter the amount of fake tan it's always easy to spot the fair skinned from the naturally bronzed). So take a leaf out of Vivienne and Oscar's books and stray away from white. You'll be such a pretty sight!

And the Bride Wore...
Doing my weekly search of the web last Friday I came across the website of American bridal designer Enzoani. I contacted them and was very kindly sent a pile of images of their new collection so I've decided to share with you a small but beautiful selection.
Launched in 2005, Enzoani has become known for their elegant designs with European influence, attention to detail and and focus on the perfect fit. In 2007 they launched Blue by Enzoani, a line that combines the Enzoani signature style and detail at a lower price point. New for Enzoani in 2009 is the all occasion line, Love. Love blends bridesmaid, cocktail and more into one collection making it the perfect choice for that special event or party. Authorised retail locations for Enzoani can be found accross North America, U.K, Europe, Middle East, and more with new locations popping up all the time. Visit www.enzoani.com to find out more about the collections and retail locations.

One for the Boys
Oftentimes, with all the excitement and anticipation surrounding the wedding dress, the poor old fellas are forgotton. The boys have few options with which to express their style – a snappy boutonniere is one way they can really make a statement. Our friends at Ruby Press blogged about Fritts Rosenow recently - what a fabulous range of interesting buttonholes. I love the one made from playing cards - although I can't help but hear the theme song to Kath & Kim in my head when I see it!

Lovely Letterpress
Whilst looking around in the blogging world I was excited to find Bespoke Press who are based in Brisbane. They make beautiful wedding stationery and have just launched a new range of couture wedding gifts, favours and place settings featuring soaps, candles and hand creams. Beautiful wedding favours are hard to find so I think these will be really popular! For more pictures, ideas and a behind the scenes look at letterpress printing, be sure to look at their blog.

Becker Minty Loves Aurelio Costarella
One of my favourite stores in Sydney is without a doubt the absolutely gorgeous Becker Minty in Potts Point. If you're looking for a gorgeous standout piece for your home or a gift for a stylish friend look no further. Becker Minty have everything a trendy home needs incl. furniture, art, ceramics, glass, antiques, jewellery, clothing, books, rugs, candles, cushions, lighting and so much more.
One of my favourite Australian labels stocked by Becker Minty is Aurelio Costarella. Recently BM hosted an event with Costarella in their pretty courtyard to launch the new season. Many of his evening gowns would make the perfect bride or bridesmaid dresses. My fave gown would have to be the Calder gown, which is available in a long and short version and perfectly suited to a wedding. Visit www.beckerminty.com to find out more about this amazing store and the labels they stock.
