Pop-up Placemats
Look at these clever placemats from Publique Living in San Francisco. The concept is so simple but so effective. Each placemat is cut from 100% recycled paper and has an area that can be handwritten with the guest's name. They were exhibited at the recent NY stationery show so no doubt we will see them in Australia soon enough, but I just wanted to share this great idea with everyone now.

Just Coasting
One of my favourite sites to visit is French General's. I'll often spend a good hour looking through all the lovely things they have on offer like these flourished drink coasters. US$12 for 12 + postage. From memory, they do ship internationally but contact them directly for details. Then make sure to visit the whole site so as not to miss out on any other little treats before making an order.

Pretty Patterns
Following up with more lace-inspired stationery. I found these hand silk-screened cards at Beau Ideal via Etsy. A set of 4 is US$6 + US$4 postage. Pretty and chic and just perfect for our Moody Hues story.

Are these the cutest little cakes you've ever seen or what? What a fabulous way to incorporate cupcakes into a bridal shower tea. Found at flickr from Bakerella.

Wall Flower
I am in love with this Laura Ashley wallpaper named Wolcott. It would make a spectacular table runner for a yellow and black themed wedding like the one we featured in the current issue. It could be used to line envelopes, cover order of service booklets or wrap around votive holders. Finished with a yellow striped ribbon like the ones we used, it would be stunning.

The wallpaper is on sale in the UK, I can only hope it makes it to our shores and is on sale here too.

A Little Bird Told Me...
With shops based in Byron Bay and Surry Hills, Bird Textile have the sweetest fabrics and homeware. This lovely wrapping paper would fit very nicely with the Going Green story we featured in Issue 5 as all giftwrap is printed in Australia using 100% post-consumer recycled paper and soy inks - very environmentally conscientious.

Name It
A fun way to define areas at the reception is to name them with these striking zinc-coated letters and numbers from ici et la. They're 21cm high so teamed together they would look fantastic. They would also make a great gift for the bride and groom to adorn their home. AUD$45.00 each.
