Take the Plunge

UK based lingerie label Panache, specialising in D+ cup sizes, is now availble to Australian women through the website Big Girls. Not to be confused with plus sized lingerie, the Tiffany Bridal Collection starts at a size 6 and goes up to a 16 with cup sizes ranging from D's to G's.

The Tiffany Bridal A/W 2011 collection comprises a plunge bra, strapless bra, basque and matching coordinates. This style features luxurious Italian stretch satin with beautiful subtle darting detail. Available in a range of shapes and styles - this is the perfect lingerie for any special occasion available in black or ivory. Signature to the collection is the waspie and briefs which contour the figure into a gorgeous hourglass shape. The figure fixing properties of these pieces make them perfect to wear beneath a wedding dress and they look sexy to boot! Visit www.biggirls.com.au for all the collection info.

Spring 2011 Haute Couture

Love love LOVE Couture Fashion Week. If you need some fashion inspiration then CFW is the place to go to get it. The standout show was easily Elie Saab. What this man can do to a dress is quite simply put ah-mazing. I have no doubt in my mind you'll see a few of his couture pieces popping up on the Oscars red carpet in a couple of months. Alexis Mabille went, again, for a pretty neutral palette with splashes of black and deep colours. I loved her skirts with billowing trains. So pretty! Valentino weren't as outstanding as expected. The new team behind the label, Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli, showed an ultra feminie collection, although as far as couture goes it didn't scream 'look at me'. The flat neutral used paled in comparison to Elie Saab. For all the looks from this years shows visit www.vogue.com.au. I'll wrap the shows up on Monday so stay tuned!

Amanda and David

One of my favourite real weddings in the current issue is Amanda and Davids' wedding. It was shot beautifully by Next Exit Photography and had lots of crafty details. Here are a few more shots from their wedding.

These Badgley Mischka shoes are adorable, you can buy them from Piperlime who ship to Australia.

Amanda made all the ceremony programs herself and had them printed at a local printer, I love the puzzles on them which help pass the time whilst waiting for the bride.

Be sure to check out Issue 17 to see more of this wedding.

Golden Globe Awards 2011

Awards season is well and truly upon us and I have to admit I'm a sucker for a red carpet. How can you possibly not be?! This year block colours seemed to be favoured with Angelina Jolie, Mila Kunis and Catherine Zeta-Jones all standing out in divine emerald green gowns. Pinks, reds and oranges of all different shades were also high on the 'to wear' list. My favourte (and Emma agrees) was Olivia Wilde in her simply out-of-this-world Marchesa gown. I honestly can't explain how beautiful I find it. Something more could have been done with her hair but the dress... speechless. Mad Men star January Jones was a knockout in her red Versace gown. It's no surprise she's the face of their new accessories collection. Pregnant Natalie Portman was glowing in her soft pink Viktor & Rolf gown, accessorised with a red Swarovski rose. A simply lovely choice. Now we just have to wait patiently for the Oscars!
