The Land Down Under
Rosemont Australian Fashion Week Spring/Summer 09/10
For another fabulous year Australian Fashion Week has come and gone. It arrives so fast and before you know it, in a puff of pretty smoke, it's gone. There were, in my opinion, a few standouts and one of those was Jayson Brunsdon. He is a master when it comes to ultra feminine yet sexy gowns. His collection consisted of short and long pieces that proved why he's one of Australia's favourite evening wear designers. Aurelio Costarella made exquisite evening gowns in the most vibrant orange, a colour that looks to be a hot choice when spring/summer rolls around. Juli Grbac and Liso Ho sent a swather of classically modern gowns down their respective catwalks in an assortment of truly delicious colours. I was intrigued by Dhini & Gail Sorronda's creative mini's. Feathers, lace and ruffles are such great combinations. I'll upload the remainding pics during the week so stay tuned!
